Club Continental, at the New Continental Hotel, provides guests a way to stay active so you don’t have to sacrifice your routine when you travel.

If you’re a local resident, you can become a club member and take advantage of our hotel facilities or use our pay as you go session scheme as and when you want to pop in. With onsite parking and a city centre location it makes the perfect place to unwind and work out.

So whether you are a guests or member, you can have a splash in the Club’s heated indoor pool, relax in our sauna and steam room or if you fancy pumping some iron we have two fully air conditioned gyms.  We have cardio and resistance machines to suit all, with dumbells ranging from 2kg – 35kg.

Join us! Re-energise your body and mind with a workout at the gym. Unwind in the sauna or steam room, and dip your toes in the beautifully heated indoor swimming pool. Whether you want to come in early morning or late at night, we are open all day every day.

Personal training sessions are available upon request. So whether you are working to achieve a specific goal, want to drop a dress size or get summer ready;  our qualified Personal Trainers can offer you assessments, effective workouts and encouragement to achieve your goals. With all of our training constructive and results driven, you can be sure that they will help you not only achieve your goals but also increase your energy and fitness levels.

Terms & Conditions for our Loyalty Card Holders: 

Simply collect your Loyalty Card from your employer or a member of staff at Club Continental and receive an exclusive pay as you go offer of just £4 per session, before 4pm. Each session you will receive 1 stamp per customer, collect 4 stamps and your fifth session is absolutely free; that’s just us saying well done for persevering and congratulations on being a fitter you!  Collect an additional 5 stamps and you will then be included in our annual prize draw and could win 6 months’ free Club Continental Membership worth up to £198.00!

  • Your loyalty card must be presented to the Club Continental Team Member when purchasing your pay as you go session so that your card can be stamped. The Team Member is under no obligation to ask you to present your card to them at the point of sale. This is solely the card holder’s responsibility.
  • Stamps cannot be applied to the Loyalty card after a transaction has taken place and the customer has left Club Continental retrospectively.
  • Stamps cannot be transferred from one card to another nor can multiple cards be used to claim free sessions.
  • One stamp will be issued per customer at the point of sale.
  • Only one loyalty card can be used at a time per customer.
  • Loyalty Card Holders must be 18 or over. 
  • The £4 before 4pm is only valid for non-members; if you are a member of Club Continental or have been a member within the last three months, you do not qualify for this scheme.
  • Customers will have their Loyalty card stamped and dated on their first visit to Club Continental, subsequent stamps and redemption of the free session and prize draw must occur within 6 months of the dated first stamp.
  •  The customer Loyalty card will not apply to any concessions or Senior Citizen discounts.
  • Club Continental cannot be held responsible if a customer Loyalty Card becomes lost or stolen.
  • The loyalty card is issued by and will remain the property of Club Continental.
  • The Customer loyalty card is only for personal and consumer use. Loyalty stamps cannot be transferred, sold or in any way traded. There is no cash alternative.  
  • Club Continental reserves the right to reject the card with reasonable cause.
  • Club Continental reserves the right to withdraw or amend this promotion at any time.
  • This card can only be redeemed at Club Continental, any questions or queries must be directed to the Club, not to the New Continental Hotel as staff will not be able to support you with your enquiry.
  • Club Continental reserves the right to modify these Terms and conditions at any time at its discretion (acting reasonably). Club Continental advises that you go to {website} regularly to check for update. This does not affect your statuary rights.
