The South west is famous for some of Britain’s
finest and most unspoilt coastal scenery
encompassing areas of outstanding natural beauty
like the Lizard peninsula, Barnstaple bay and
Exmouth, and heritage areas like Torbay, the
Kingsbridge estuary and Slapton sands.
Dartmoor, one of the largest national parks in
Britain, is a short drive away and is rightly
classified as an area of outstanding natural
beauty. The landscape offers lots to do for the
more active such as cycling and horse riding,
while those wishing to relax and take in the
scenery can do so over a traditional Devon cream
tea in one of the many moorland village taverns.
